The St. Francis Center is dedicated to meeting the needs of the working poor in the Redwood City area. We provide housing, food and clothing services to address short-term needs of our clients, but our most important service is education. Education, for both the children and the parents of the families we serve, offers a long-term solution to the challenges of the working poor. Through our education programs, we teach the basic skills and instill the self-confidence that will enable our clients to become self-sustaining, productive members of our community.
